Our Discipline Principles

The UPDF Way

Our discipline system is modeled after the Uganda People's Defence Forces values:

Punctuality

"Early is on time, on time is late!" - All students must be 5 minutes early to all activities.

Respect

Salute superiors, address staff properly, and maintain decorum at all times.

Uniform Code

Full uniform must be worn correctly at all times - no alterations allowed.
T.shirt is worn every Wednesday & Weekend ONLY.

Academic Standards

Integrity

Zero tolerance for cheating. All work must be original with proper citations.

Assignments

All homework must be completed and submitted on time - no exceptions.

Classroom Conduct

Stand when teacher enters, no phones, attentive participation required.

Community Values

Dormitory Rules

Beds made military-style by 6:30am, no unauthorized items, lights out at 9:30pm sharp.

Teamwork

House competitions encourage unity and collective responsibility.

Physical Fitness

Mandatory morning drills keep students physically and mentally sharp.

Discipline System

Consequences for Violations

  1. Verbal Warning: First minor offense noted
  2. Written Warning: Documented in student file
  3. Extra Duty: Cleaning, gardening, or other service
  4. Demerits: 3 demerits = suspension
  5. Suspension: 1-5 days depending on severity
  6. Expulsion: For repeated or serious offenses
  7. the Rod Spoil the child(Proverbs 13-24.)

Serious offenses (fighting, theft, etc.) may lead to indefinite suspension.

  • Bursary : Bursary for disciplined students
  • Bursary : Academic Bursary for best perfomers in class
  • Leadership Roles: Prefect, House Captain positions
  • Weekend Passes: For students with clean records
  • Honors Society: Academic and discipline excellence
